Over the past few years, Haryana has witnessed a phenomenal development in all the areas. The efficient and transparent style of governance displayed by Deepender Singh Hooda is one of the major reasons for the rapid growth of the state. With a substantial increase in the number of roadways, rail networks, power and industrial projects, the infrastructural framework of the state has undergone a paradigm shift.

Haryana’s per capita income, at Rs.1, 23,554 (2012-13 QE), is the highest among all big states in India. Also, Haryana has outperformed all other states in mobilising financial resources during the 11th Five Year Plan. The state was able to mop up resources to the extent of 192% of the projected mobilisation as against the national average mobilisation of 92.5% of the projections.

Prestigious educational institutions such as Rajiv Gandhi Education City (RGEC), National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship & Management (NIFTEM) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have chosen Haryana to open their new campuses.

Along with a well connected railway network, the state government has also introduced Rapid Metro, which connects Delhi Metro commuters to six key places within the city and thus facilitates better commutation.
Not just that. Haryana is also home to leading global giants like Panasonic, Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki Motorcycle and Nippon Carbide as they started their new units here. Did you know that one out of every four bicycles in the country was manufactured here?

It is fairly evident that Deepender Singh Hooda has been able to mobilize masses and resources in the most competent way, which has helped the state and its people to come a long way. The Planning Commission, too, has lauded Haryana’s progress. No doubt, the success story of Haryana highlights the effects of better, stable, transparent and credible governance.
