Physical infrastructure is an integral part of development of an economy and provides basic services that people need in their everyday life. The contribution of infrastructure to economic growth and development is well recognized. It extends vital support to productive sectors, generates high productivity and supports strong economic growth.
Haryana Government is leaving no stone
unturned to ensure that Haryana does not lag behind in the race to development.
Shri Kamal Nath ji, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development, Govt of India has
accorded approval to various projects under UIDSSMT (Urban InfrastructureDevelopment
Scheme for Small and Medium Towns) for development of Roads, Drinking water
facilities and Sewerage in Rohtak city. UIDSSMT is a Govt of India scheme which
aims at improvement in urban infrastructure in towns and cities in a planned
manner.
Shri Deepender Singh Hooda met Shri
Kamal Nath ji during the winter session of Parliament and also spoke to him a
few days back requesting to clear these proposals.
The Japanese Ambassador to India Mr.
Takisai Yagi recently said “Japanese Industrialists consider Haryana as their
second home and will continue investing in Haryana”. The comment says much
about the kind of infrastructure Haryana boasts of.
The constant endeavours of Hooda ji
are fructifying results and Haryana is on its way to achieve world class
infrastructure.
